Dave Burgess is a Principal Consultant Forensic Collision Investigator and Vehicle Examiner for Wayman. He resides in Dorset, and is responsible for the standards and quality of the team of Collision Investigators associated with Wayman throughout the South of the United Kingdom. He is a full member of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (M.I.T.A.I.) , holds a Licentiateship with the City & Guilds Institute (L.C.G.I.) is an Associate Member of the Institute of Road Transport Engineers (A.M.I.R.T.E.) and an Associate Member of the Society of Operations Engineers (A.M.S.O.E.). He was previously registered with the Council for Registration of Forensic Practitioners in the specialist discipline of Road Transport (Collision Investigation) and was entitled to use the letters R.F.P.

- Land survey techniques and electronicTotal Stations surveying equipment.
- City and Guilds in Tachograph Analysis and Enforcement – Level 2.
- City and Guilds in Tachograph Systems and Calibration – Level 3.
- Stoneridge Electronics Scan4 tachograph scanner and Tachograph analysis software.
- Police Technical Tyre Course with the Michelin Tyre Company.
- Tintman Photoptic light meters.
- Hand Held Radar speed detection devices.
